Parents/carers/guardians are asked to sign an accident book if injuries occur whilst riding or participating in any other activity with Gateway Wheelers.
Also if a rider should come to Gateway Wheelers with an injury of any kind the parent/carer/guardian will be asked to sign the book on reporting it to the club leader volunteer.

If a rider has an accident whilst at Gateway Wheelers the situation will be assessed by the club leader and if necessary the rider will be taken to see a doctor immediately and the parents/carers/guardian will be contacted immediately.

At each ride we will have at least one qualified first aider.

In the event of an accident Gateway Wheelers volunteers will:

If staff see evidence of injury on a rider, which has not occurred whilst at Gateway Wheelers and hasn't been reported to any member of staff, parents will be asked for information on the incident and instructed to write m me back of the accident book.
