The Eye
[Back to Information for Volunteers]

The club is an equal opportunities organisation who firmly believes that no person whether it be a helper, child, client, job applicant, or employee should be treated less favourably or be the victim of abuse or harassment or discrimination on the grounds of race, colour, ethnic origin, nationality, age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, political or religious belief.

Gateway Wheelers will:

  1. Ensure all members and volunteers are able to fulfill their potential.

  2. If anyone feels they are being discriminated against, the matter will be fully investigated and appropriate action will be taken.

  3. Endeavour to provide inclusive services for members and volunteers.

  4. Volunteers should report any discrimination which is or suspected to be taking place.

  5. All senior volunteers are aware of discrimination.

Individuals will not be victimised for providing information or making complaints about discrimination.
