Visit from Brian Baldock - Chairman of Mencap
April 2002
Quote from Brian Baldock, Chairman of Mencap,
"Gateway Wheelers is an imaginative and exciting project which is providing opportunities for people with disabilities to use cycles which have been purpose built for them to ride in a natural, but safe environment. I am sure that the dedication of all concerned has opened up a whole new world of experiences for people who previously never have known the joy and freedom of cycling.
The obvious enthusiasm of all the members and their pride in their achievements should be an inspiration to us all in Mencap and the wider community".
I wish Gateway Wheelers all the very best for the future; they deserve to grow and grow!"
