Eastbourne Sports Complex Darlington

The Eastbourne Sports Complex has an enclosed running track which we can cycle round, an accessible park plus all the usual facilities you would expect from a sports centre. The bikes will be accessible to more people at this site as there are better public transport links. We are also hoping groups will use the bikes independently through the week increasing the number of people cycling. Please contact us if you would like to arrange a mid week ride.

DIRECTIONS:

Travelling from the North:

• Travelling on the A1(M) exit onto the slip road (Junction 59) signed A167 Newton Aycliffe/Darlington.
• At the roundabout take the first exit onto Durham Road (A167).
• At the next roundabout take the second exit onto North Road (A167).
• Continue on this road all the way to Darlington Town Centre (approximately 2 miles).
• At the roundabout, take the first exit onto St Cuthberts Way (A167).
• At the next roundabout take the second exit onto St Cuthberts Way (A167).
• At the next roundabout take the first exit onto Parkgate (B6280).
• At the next roundabout take the first exit onto Yarm Road (B6280).
• At traffic lights turn left onto Hundens lane.
• Turn right onto Bourne Avenue.
• Continue to the top of this road and enter Eastbourne Sports Complex car park.

Travelling from the South:

• Travelling on the A1 (M) exit left onto A66(M) (junction 58) signed Darlington.
• At the roundabout take the first exit onto Bridge Road (A66).
• At the next roundabout take the second exit onto Grange Road (A167).
• At the next roundabout, take the third exit onto Victoria Road (A167).
• At the next roundabout, take the second exit onto Saint Cuthberts Way (A167).
• At the next roundabout, take the third exit onto Parkgate (B6280).
• At the next roundabout take the first exit onto Yarm Road (B6280).
• At traffic lights turn left onto Hundens lane.
• Turn right onto Bourne Avenue.
• Continue to the top of this road and enter Eastbourne Sports Complex car park.

Travelling from the East:

• Travelling on the A66 from Teesside, at the roundabout take the second exit onto the A1150.
• At the next roundabout take the first exit onto Stockton road (B6279).
• At the traffic lights continue straight ahead.
• Turn left onto Hundens Lane.
• Turn left onto Bourne Avenue.
• Continue to the top of this road and enter Eastbourne Sports Complex car park.
