Gateway Wheelers would like to introduce our new project - Free Wheelers!
We applied to ITV's The People's Millions for a grant to help us introduce cycling sessions for people physically disabled due to brain injury or an accident. We are thrilled to announce we have been announced as runners up and have secured £47,252 of funding and with your support we will now make Free Wheelers a reality.

VISIT TO DURHAM BOTANICAL GARDENS
Ten years ago our Founder David Patterson BEM passed away suddenly. We marked the occasion with a visit to the Botanic Gardens in Durham where there is a bench dedicated to David and his wife Anne.
Thank you David and Anne for giving us a dream, you will always have a special place in our hearts.
On Friday 30th May Gateway Wheelers helped Special Olympics GB to launch a new club to serve the Gateshead area in the North East.
Special Olympics GB President Lawrie McMenemy MBE attended the event along with Special Olympics GB CEO Karen Wallin.
